The Milford based animal research watchdog group "STOP ANIMAL EXPLOITATION NOW" is piling onto Cimcool. It might be fair to say this group never saw a research test involving animals that it approved of. Cimcool was previously warned about the Deaths of 24 guinea pigs during experimental testing. They are now the target of a new complaint alleging ongoing animal mistreatment. In a complaint filed last Tuesday with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, allegations were made that the company provided inadequate veterinary care, and used unqualified personnel and inadequate sanitation. The company is accused of violating study protocol established by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. The Animal Welfare Act allows the USDA to take two approaches: a warning letter or a fine of up to $10,000 per offense, there is a possibility of even the most severe action - up to a $60,000 fine. Is this opportunistic piling on a reputable company, or is there an ongoing issue? Read the full story as originally reported on news.cincinnati.com. Before reading, remember the FISCHER RULE OF TESTIMONY: There are two sides to every story and the least likely place to find the truth is in the middle.

You might be thinking - "Isn't this happening in that same country that has a government ("party") promoting 'equalization of wealth' while bankrupting the nation as an apparent means to the end?" That's completely true. There are far bigger problems in the United States. But we are now a nation of special interests first, so no one rallies about the biggest issue. The parties encourage citizens to find a personal interest they can promise to help - with a little bit more money - but your issue is important, and so it goes. You can't complain about the debt, because that would make you a traitor to your special interest. A great depression and enormous human suffering will follow our country's crushing demise at the feet of the two political parties spending nonexistent money in an attempt to purchase continuous power. Nevertheless, we have an ongoing obligation to look after the environment and the little creatures the best we can. It's a good thing to do, and it doesn't take so much effort perhaps. So please don't make the kitty cry.
