Metalworking Fluid iPhone Data Recording

Cell phones and steroids. The 1980's changed everything. Decades later, the iPhone remains one of the most popular electronic instruments ever sold. If you haven't written an App for it, you're over 40. If you don't have one, you're probably embarrassed to answer that flip phone in public. Metalworking Fluid Managers now have a Quaker App for recording their data. Quaker Chemical has provided a very simple and clean looking App to monitor your metalworking fluids on your cell phone. Register your CNC machines and keep track of fluid concentration, pH values which will be displayed in graphs. Add visual observations as well. A complete troubleshooting guide for quick and easy problem solving is also included. You can export data easily and calculate consumption, top-up volumes for each machine in one click.

The original title of this article was METALWORKING FLUID MONITORING ON THE iPHONE. I changed it because merely recording the data on the device and then looking at it, doesn't constitute "monitoring" it for me. That's watching it. Nobody "monitors" porn. They watch it. Taking the data, - that's monitoring it. OK, the App takes input of the visual and performance data and that counts. (Why not a picture?) But it won't be long when the multi-prong adapter is provided for the iPhone that hangs into the fluid, takes a pH, temperature, and maybe concentration and a bio load reading of some sort. Maybe it even smells the fluid. This is monitoring. They won't give that one away, but imagine having it, because it's coming.
