Washing Your Hands With Soap: Danger! Danger!

How do you wash your hands after working with metalworking fluids? Most commonly by using a soap or hand wash. But COSHH recommends against it. Enquirer has been told that due to COSHH they cannot leave hand wash they have purchased themselves in the restrooms and they cannot use any of their own cleaning materials e.g. furniture polish. They are not clear how to wash their hands and cleaning products purchased from high street shops can fall under COSHH regulations.

OK, this is probably a misinterpretation of a well intended guideline. Hand soap is safe. Gimme a break.

But what is the best cleaning product for the machinist working with metalworking fluids? We're curious. Does anyone make a special product for cutting through the oils, killing the bacteria, but not leaving the hands too dry? Please share.
