OSHA with Wiscon organizes Tenth Annual Safety Training Day June 13th 2013. Taught by WCTC instructors, this class is designed to prepare you to respond in emergency situations with skills that can save lives.  After completing this course, attendees are invited to sit in on Safety Day Classes at a very nominal fee where you can choose from a variety of topics like setting up an Industrial Hygiene program, OSHA record keeping, Contractor Safety in Manufacturing and many more.

End User's have come to expect the newer and more expensive metalworking fluid formulations to last longer. Extended life usually means the addition of biocides or the presence of bacteria.  Either can lead to a machine operator complaining about skin irritation because of metalworking fluid.  Ideally there should be no contact with working metalworking fluids, which is practically impossible. Ex-employee Sues Boeing for Metalworking Fluid Exposure

A Helena man is suing Boeing for more than $75,000, saying that his health is compromised due to occupational exposure of unvented chemicals at its building on Airport Road.  In documents filed in U.S. District Court, Jeffrey Reed said he is a machinist, specializing in the manufacture of parts for the aeronautics industry, and began working at Summit Aeronautics Group in April 2007.
