Who is ILMA?
No - that is URSULA. We are looking for ILMA.
Hint: It is not your great-aunt on the German side of your family.
If you can't pick out the relevant ILMA logo from the line-up below, you need to click on it now.
The Independent Lubricant Manufacturers' Association was established in 1948 to provide advocacy and networking for lubricant manufacturers, and they have succeeded in being a powerful force indeed. We have been following them for the life of our publication. We have interviewed their leaders and occasionally attended their meetings and seminars. They formed the Metalworking Fluid Product Stewardship Group in the 90's and have organized and hosted the most important metalworking fluid symposiums ever assembled.
Earlier this year, the South Coast Air Quality Management District and ILMA held a joint symposium to discuss Rule 1144 - Metalworking Fluids and Direct-Contacts Lubricants. Click the Article link for access to the proceedings at the South Coast Air Quality Management website.
