BUSTED

An investigation into health and safety reports by in-cumbria has revealed that Michael Mudd Limited, Sedberghin, England, has been failing to keep workers safe.  Specifically, an improvement notice was served on July 24 of last year after it was found that the Sedbergh-based agricultural firm failed to ensure that the exposure of employees to metalworking fluids was either prevented or adequately controlled. There was also a failure to monitor the health of workers using the fluids. The situation was rectified by October 26, so all is well again in Cumbria.  Yes, we were just a little slow to find this one, but it is worth illustrating now, as we plan to focus a future issue on the growing number of law firms in the US that are listing mwf exposure as a specialty of their firm.
