Metalworking Fluid Under the Law: HSE and Civil Actions

In the course of my 17 years of legal practice, I have developed a large number of anecdotes to share with my clients.  Clients are often dismayed at what seems to be the slow pace of justice to track down evil.  I offer the observation that although Mother Justice must take time to weigh things and seems to move as slow as this statue, when she finally gets where she's going, she'll be wielding a very large sword.

Just because things haven't been a problem in your place of business before now, don't believe that they never will be.  The word "Superfund" might serve as an example of what I am talking about.  However, do not infer from this example that all things large and legal must be related to chemical spills.  They most certainly are not.  It has been less than 30 days since I have personally deposed individuals (Medical Doctors) whom I believe are knowingly harming the public for big profits.  You do not want to be sitting where they were sitting.

So this month, we say 'Good-bye' to FILTRATION MONTH, and 'Hello' to MWF UNDER THE LAW' Month.  We don't know what all we will have for you, if much at all actually, but let's see how it goes.  Health, Safety, Environment, and of course - Civil Suits.  The gloves come off in June, at METALWORKING FLUID MAGAZINE.

Please note, we plan to republish a few of our more interesting articles on this subject.
